  • They dragged her down, dead from Tobermory

Too cheap to spare her one last head of steam

Deep in deisel fumes embraced, rust and soot upon the face

Of one who was so clean.

They called me here to watch her in the boneyard

Just two old wrecks to spend the night alone

It's dark inside this evil place, clouds on the moon hide her disgrace

    The whiskey hides my own.

  • It is a funeral procession.

  • Amazing that the design of these ore boats has hardly changed over 60-70 years. They still look the same.

  • she was sold in 2007

  • LE Block was Built in 1927 in Lorain,Ohio, was 621 ft long x 64ft wide and had a draft of 33ft.She was scrapped in 2006.

  • it's eerie, almost like a funeral procession.

  • Nice footage
