04 Mustang v6 Dual Exhaust o/r H Pipe

i have an x with 40's and turndowns i actually noticed a difference but if i take off my cats ill have to get mil elim and i'll die of breathing that carbon monoxide and shit,

Just have the two big cats in the middle of the Y pipe removed. my setup was that so it wasn't an actuall "off road" h pipe. Didn't pop at all really.

does taking the cats off increase hp?

You'll notice a bit more pep in takeing off since the gases move faster. You'll get better mpg as well. Best thing to do with the mustang v6s is get a cold air intake that the filter is in the wheel well (not the K&N bullshit) and have the cats removed and then a couple performence mufflers. It really ups in power. I did that to my 04 v6 stang and it was pretty fuckin quick for a 6

couple grand and someone to put on the exhaust for you unless you can do that at your home and are good at it
