I have a question, the standard tuning is gCEA, that means that the lowest string is in A, and the upmost string is in g? now I have 4 strings, but I don't understand, they're called BF#DA (from 1-4), in thickeness .024 .032 .034 .028 m... Can someone help me, it's very confusing...

thats great... but how do you know what to do if it's out of tune?

Sounds like you are using 'low G' tuning, right? Do you prefer that for a particular reason?
