What more reason do YOU need to ditch "programming"? Comment! Tell me what I can expect. I am asking anyone willing to commit to pulling the plug on Cable/Satellite Programming BEFORE 9/11/2011.

You and I have paid for advertising. Advertising is big money. And for years, we have been dumbed down by the single-most powerful tool in US propaganda; while we continued to pay for crappy "programming" and had our intelligence insulted.

The objective is to send a clear, concise message to US and Western State Sponsored Media, that not only are we tired of being lied to, mislead, misinformed and used, but that we will no longer put food in the troughs.

Prior to the fall of the USSR, the people of that Republic, noticed that the news never covered events that they felt were important. As a result, something happened quite naturally. The people began turning off their televisions in the evenings and having discussions with their neighbors. Once the seed was planted, State Sponsored media was no longer effective.

If you have a desire for non-violent protest, remove your energy from the television. Take back your living room. Start your own library at home. Educate your family to be critical thinkers.

@afroprepper I'm disappointed that there aren't millions of video responses. But...I'm still putting together some ideas for this.

@skybirdbird It has more than one single use. Some people use it strictly to watch DVD's.

I'm wide open for suggestions. If there is a way to BE the shot heard round the world, it would be that portion of society that is honestly ready, to send a clear message to the top tier, and say we have had enough. Imagine the possibilities, if this September 11th, additional people were hired by providers just to respond to people discontinuing cable/satellite programming.

Many, many, many years ago when I was younger, the former head of the FCC, Federal Communication Commission, stated that: Television is America's vast national wasteland.
