I agree with you about pro life. I disagree about not treating religion like any other idea, and questioning whether it is true, and presenting counter-arguments, and pointing out problems with religion.

Like the pro-slavery, pro-child rape, pro genocide, pro human sacrifice, pro-lying to young children and threatening them with eternal hell, pro fleecing the public of cash, and pro grooming kids and adults to be compliant, o feel guilty for things they haven't even done nature of religion.

You are stereotyping religions. The majority of religions do not practice or promote human sacrifice or genocide, rape, etc. I support religions that do not support those things. I do think that dangerous religions should not be practiced, but that doesn't mean that all religions are bad. Most are good. I don't know what you mean by guilt. Also, look at how many christian and jewish charities help the poor and sick through money, food, shelter, etc.

I wouldn't say that those religions are, in the norm, the things you are accusing. Some people take on a radical and violent form of Islam that is not acceptable, but regular Islam is a relatively peaceful religion. Judaism and Christianity are among the most peaceful religions in the world.

As written, all 3 religions are barbaric as I have described above.

To the degree they are peaceful, is to the degree modern sensibilities have forced people to drop the barbarous behaviours from their awareness and lives... or to the degree individual people ignored these because they themselves aren't naturally evil.

Modern, democratic, largely secular Israel, that is, a nation governed by humane laws and not by the alleged commandments of a tyranical "God".

Israel is a largely jewish country, and is ruled by humane laws. God's laws are humane. Have you read the 10 commandments? None of those laws are tyrannical, unless you consider not stealing, not lying, not killing, and not committing adultery to be "inhumane." Also, Judaism is the only RELIGION to practice circumcision. Since over 60% of America is circumcised and less than 10% of America are jews, it it obvious that people are choosing the medical benefits over the religious customs.
