Who said that? I am a christian and 'religion" has done many terrible things. Dont confuse Jesus with what religion has done. My guess would be that Christ has been very disappointed with how so called "christians' have treated people over the years

well my dear, the hidden message of your great lecture up there is obvious: philosophy deals with existance, religion with fictional existance (of god). Religion don't care about knowledge, unless if it is writen in a book that's centuries old and still considered as the only truth - obtaining something without questioning it is faith, so don't you dare compare it with philosophical studying. Values - power for manipulating people. REASON? Don't make me laugh.

Let me just enlighten you how that jesus love works: loving god connects you with other people who love (the same concept of) god, that creates the ornament of the mass, which works as dinamic of 2 libidal energies: eros and thanatos ; eros on the inside of the (in this case god loving people) group and thanatos in opposition to all on the outsiders of the group, (in this case people who don't acknowledge the same concept of god). And that's why we have religious wars and conflict.

@filtrKOMBINAT If philosophy is the study of general & fundamental problems, such as those connected with existence, knowledge, values, reason, mind, and language and is distinguished from other ways of addressing such problems by its critical, generally systematic approach and its reliance on rational argument.AND Religion addresses similar/same aspects yet is based in faith. Are they both religions? Both need faith & belief in God or our logic. which one? its a choice! Choose LIFE.
