Title track from Chuck Prophet's upcoming album Temple Beautiful, out early 2012. Featured on Little Steven's Underground Garage radio show as one of its featured "Coolest Song in the World."
Chuck has been touring and recording for over 20 years post Green on Red.Brother Aldo (1990)Balinese Dancer (1992)Feast of Hearts (1995)Homemade Blood (1997)The Hurting Business (1999)Turn the Pigeons Loose (2002)No Other Love (2002)Age of Miracles (2004)
Soap and Water (2007)Dreaming Waylon's Dreams (2007)Let Freedom Ring (2009).He's also awesome live performer and plays the Telecaster like nobody's business
I just got satellite radio today (finally) and heard this song. Never heard it or of Chuck until Little Steven played it. This is bad ass. Best new song I've heard in years. Radio will never play this song so if you are still listening to gawd-awful FM radio I suggest you get satellite.
Sounds JUST like The Modern Lovers - or more specifically, Jonathan Richman

Yes, he sounds A LOT like Ray Davies. This is the first time I have ever heard of him.
I am always looking to hear "new" music.

@rnargi So is Heart from the song Even It Up. You're right though, he sounds just like Ray Davies and this song kicks ass!
