Standard & Poor's has placed the 'A' corporate credit rating on Hewlett-Packard Co. (HP) on CreditWatch with negative implications. The company recently announced the $11 billion acquisition of Autonomy Corp. and it is exploring a possible spin-off for its Personal Systems Group.   • I do not think is a smart move for HP to get rid of their consumer business (computers etc..)
