  • he plays newer songs as well. But timeless songs are just that, timeless.

  • Old Black is not a Black Beauty, it is a '53 Gold top repainted black, the Bigsby Tremolo was added by Neil, common mistake though. Forget Eric, Neil is God!

  • There's an epic version of Neil with Phish doing Down By the River- 19mins!!! I saw him in 82 here in Cleveland his - Solo Tour. This song is so great- Neil rocks. If you could listen to Neil and all of his "projects" or bands he was in for a whole day it would be, well it would be the best day ever!

  • ahhh this song remonds me of 2 summers ago when me and my ex would drive on gravel roads drinking wine and blasting down by the river and cowgirl in the sand....good times!!!

  • am i the only one who is blown away by Neils guitar playing?? i mean this is legendary

  • Neil Young plays guitar as if he's never heard anyone else play guitar. There's really nothing else like it. Some people can't stand it; others appreciate his apparently chaotic brilliance. For those familiar with the album version of this song, this version demonstrates that Young was not simply attacking the guitar almost randomly--no matter how much he may appear to be going through an uncontrolled and extended grand mal seizure. This is simply guitar from another planet--like no one else.

  • "This much madness is too much sorrow". Neil's music is a soothing balm on the dreadful scourge of aging. I've been a loyal fan of this " musical Moses" since 1967. And yes, I called him a Moses ! ! ..Through the wilderness,( of what passes for music), in these fearful daze_, Neil is one of the few left that sees the promised land of true Rock. He has been given the stone tablet that has but one commandment, " Play music like it's your last day on earth!!!! ".

  • love this

  • why did you start at the end

  • Neil is still so freakin' sick. Wish he would play Red Rocks this summer.

  • I would be just be idiotic to say that Neil's still got it, he never lost it! Lol keep on rockin old man show us young people how to do it right.

  • remembering the past,I like it.
