The hard part starts at around 3:18, so skip there if you just want to see that.

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you my 200th video! Perfect timing, considering this was the last song I needed in order to achieve a GH5 expert guitar full game FC! It would have been even better if I did this on my birthday (which is on the 20th, mind you), but today works just fine for me.

This is without a doubt my favorite song in the game. An epic song for a fitting occasion. I actually learned how to do the sax solo one-handed! Unfortunately, the batteries died on my Flip camera, so I couldn't do a split screen video. I may make a separate video later showing the method I used to hit that insane section.

I also forgot to record a setlist scroll, so if you all would like to see that I can make another video showing that as well.

The reason I didn't get a platinum medal on the Career challenge is because I strummed over a few of the slider notes. Just wanted to clarify that to avoid any confusion.

I know I said I would take a break from Guitar Hero and Rock Band a couple times, only to come back to playing the games again soon after, but I really mean it this time... I think. Don't worry, loyal subscribers, you might still be seeing some videos from me for the rest of the summer, but with college on the horizon I need to start focusing my energy on more important things. I'm not quitting music games, but I'll probably be playing them a lot less from now on.

Thank you everyone for helping me reach 200 videos and 800 subscribers!!!

  • I always wondered about this game. They kept the line "innocents raped with Napalm fire" but the line "to kill the unborn in the womb" was too intense in 2 Minutes to Midnight so they cut it

  • @Darkit2099 That could be because the lyrics in 2 Minutes to Midnight are much more clear. I can barely hear some of the lyrics in this song.

  • I hate the challenge for this song :(

I keep getting one pixel off from platinum

  • @wolfthing11 Yeah, I strummed a bunch of the slider notes, which is why I probably didn't get the platinum.

  • Next they should do Pictures of a City on GH :D

  • through the fire and the flames will still be the hardest song for guitar hero

  • @SGTItachi47 I was surprised that the first vocalist (this one) for King Crimson was Greg Lake (who later joined Emerson, Lake, & Palmer).

  • @Crimzoid21 because king crimson is not just some keep whore like ac/dc that will let morons bastardize its music

  • Wow, that solo is charted like way off. Just a random wall of ntoes that don't even go in time with the song

  • Good God. King Crimson needs its own Rock Band game, or at least a track pack. Do it NOW DEVS! No excuses for an AC~DC track pack and no KC one!

  • I love this song so much! It's just so crazy and spontaneous like no other. I play the bass so hearing such a fast and furious bass line is inspiring!

  • Sort of like Neil Peart meets Edgar Winter Group with heavy metal roots and a kick-ass singer that (I believe) may have just out-Ozzyed Ozzy Osbourne. And some Jazz thrown in. Love the vocals though.

  • what makes the song difficult is that they put in the tenor sax solo which was completely random notes for the most part

  • @Darkit2099 It's a good point, but the context counts. It was pretty common in rock circa 1969 to cite some of the atrocities of the Vietnam war, which was at that point a staple of counterculture / hippyism. Just google-image that lyric and you'll see the famous photo of the girl running naked through the Vietnam streets. I don't think anybody disputes the inhumanity of such an occurrence ..
