This is pure sacrilage. Absolutely annoying. How can this relaxed, meaningful music fit with this over-the-top scene at all?

I agree with your opinion with regards to the ship, however the above clip was to act as a mood builder and it indeed shows the strenght of such a wonderful timeless score...

@unnamednewbie13 If you argue from the POV that timelines aren't really destroyed and continue on, then perhaps Spock sees it that way.

@PeachWookiee Maybe, but he still has memory of his future past. Sounds like something that would fit nicely into a two-parter episode with a bunch of technojargon about locating the correct temporal frequency.

Reversing the damage done by time travel presents an ethical dilemma. Does Spock return to the future and save the Romulan world and lives in the past, but also alter the newly-created timeline in such a manner as to potentially undo circumstantial births and other lives?
