Everyone's favorite romantic weirdo, Gary Wilson, just debuted his new music video for "Secret Girl." Directed by Annie Pearlman, the video's creation came from Pearlman writing to Gary on Facebook. She uses awkwardly outdated animation to tell the tale of Gary's secret girlfriend and nods to Carnival of Souls, a favorite film of his. The delightfully creepy video goes hand-in-hand with Gary's soulful melody and earnest lyrics. "I've got a secret girlfriend," he says over and over again, as if he's trying to convince himself that the relationship is real, and not just in his head. The video plays out in a similar fashion- a secret world that may just be a peak into Gary's head.
