GABBY: This is the second time I've been to your house and I still haven't met your parents.
JOE: Wait till they get home from their vacation. They should be back in a couple of days.
GABBY: Really. Hmm...
JOE: What are you thinking?
GABBY: I'll tell you once I have the cards in hand.
JOE: Cards?
[Joe didn't get to ask anything more of the cards Gabby was talking about when he heard cars pull into the driveway. It was Kevin, Nick, Frankie, Sam and Sarah back from Universal Studios]
GABBY: Who are those girls?
JOE: Umm. Family friends.
GABBY: Oh.
KEVIN: Hey Joe! Oh, uh, hey Gabby!
[Gabby just smiled really big. She still couldn't get over the Jonas Brothers]
FRANKIE: Joe! You missed it! You should've come with us!
[Then Frankie saw Gabby]
FRANKIE: [Whispering] Never mind. I'm going to my room and put up these posters.
NICK: What've you been up to, Joe?
GABBY: Joe took me out and we walked on the beach. Then he ate 5 hotdogs! Can you believe that?
[Sam and Sarah look at each other and try their hardest not to burst out laughing]
SARAH: Well, Gabby, they are guys.
NICK: I'm hungry.
KEVIN: Me too.
JOE: Me four.
SARAH: My point, exactly.
SAM: Come on, Sarah. Let's go cook before the guys start eating each other.
GABBY: I can help!
SARAH: Uh... sure.
[With the girls gone—well with Gabby gone—the guys could breath]
JOE: Did you and Sam have fun on your date?
KEVIN: It wasn't a date. She called me and I asked if she wanted to hang out.
NICK: Yeah, it didn't really end like a date because we all ran into each other at Universal.
JOE: You guys were all there? Why didn't you call me?
KEVIN: I tried to wake you up this morning so we could all hang, but you wouldn't budge.
JOE: I was up late last night,
NICK: Doing what?
JOE: Texting with Gabby.
KEVIN: Joe, I don't know how to put this but...
NICK: We don't like Gabby.
[Joe didn't sport a surprised face, but he tried to act surprised]
JOE: What's not to like about her?
KEVIN: [Choosing his words carefully] She doesn't seem right for you.
JOE: And who do you think is right for me?
NICK: Anyone, just not her.
JOE: You guys can't choose who I go out with so you'll just have to deal.
SARAH: Food is ready!
[Nick was the first to walk into the kitchen]
NICK: That was quick.
SAM: We just made sandwiches.
KEVIN: Amazing. I haven't had to order take out this whole day.
GABBY: You guys have been eating take out all this time?
JOE: Yeah, since are parents aren't here and none of us can really cook a meal, we had to.
SAM: [Laughing] Maybe we should come by more often now.
SARAH: [Smiling] I think we should.
GABBY: Yeah! Let's meet her tomorrow morning and cook them breakfast.
[After Gabby spoke, Sam and Sarah had trouble keeping the smiles on their faces. Kevin and Nick decided to come to their rescue]
NICK: Sarah, I think I left something in your car.
SARAH: [Taking the hint] Let's get it.
[Nick and Sarah walked out the front door trying hard not to run]
KEVIN: Hey Sam. Can I talk to you outside?
SAM: Sure, Kevin.
[Kevin and Sam held their breath to keep from laughing until they got the back door shut]

NICK: Ah man!
SARAH: What?
NICK: I didn't grab any sandwiches. I was in a hurry.
SARAH: Lucky I did then.
[Sarah showed Nick the paper towel filled with a few sandwiches she had sneaked behind her back]
NICK: [Laughing] Smooth.
SARAH: I thought you'd still be hungry.
[Nick started chewing on one]
NICK: So how do you like Gabby?
SARAH: Well... she's really... enthusiastic.
NICK: Yeah.
SARAH: But it's easy to tell why Joe likes her—or thinks he likes her.
NICK: Really?
SARAH: She looks a lot like Sheryll.
NICK: That's funny, I thought she was Sheryll the first time I saw her.
SARAH: It's obvious he hasn't gotten over her.
NICK: I don't think any of us got over it.
SARAH: What do you mean?
NICK: When we all separated that day—Kevin, Joe and I got on the tour bus, Sam got on her plane to Boston, Sheryll went to her first interview, and you drove off.
SARAH: I had to go. College is a big thing to me.
NICK: I know that. But wasn't I?
SARAH: You were. And you still are.
NICK: Wasn't that the day you found out Jason went to the same college?
SARAH: [Whispering] Yes.
NICK: We could've kept in touch.
SARAH: I didn't want to hold on to something that wasn't going to be the same.
NICK: The only difference was that you traded me for a random guy you met on a ship.
SARAH: [Angry] I met you on a ship!
NICK: That wasn't random.
SARAH: Not random? Ask any teenager around how they would feel if they went on vacation and found out that Nick JONAS was on their ship.
NICK: It's not the same.
SARAH: I can't believe you're acting like this.
NICK; Like what?
SARAH: A jerk! I will always know one thing more about you than all of your fans and that is you can be a real jerk sometimes.
[Sarah got up and speeded out of their driveway before Nick could say anything in protest. He was too angry to stop her anyway]
