If the boomer generation priest were to re-apply to the preisthood today, im sure about 88% of them would be rejected.

Fr Richard McBrien is a very liberal catholic. However, what I don't understand is how he can write books on Catholicism and have such a wide audience? But, like me I've been misled by this type of person, but reality is it's leads one toward atheism. If that is catholicism I would rather not bother. But what I would say to anyone is check out what people say against the catechism of the catholic church. If it don't seem to fit with this put the book some where safe - a trash can!

I've read THE CHURCH by this said priest. If the term haden't been abolished, there would be about a thousand self-anathemas in that book.

This absolutely dumbfounds me. How IS he allowed to remain a priest and do what he does? How long has he gone on like this?...
I have had my share of knowing and hearing priests that work for evil, ESPECIALLY in the confessional. BEWARE, be very weary of the priests whom you speak to and let into your lives. If you are left feeling confused, humiliated or SHOCKED by what a priest says, you know that he is not working for God's Glory, but is abusing his authority to brainwash/corrupt the laity.

Oh my, this scares me a lot! I am afraid. I know the Lord said be NOT afraid, but I have to confess I am. There is evil trying to bring down the church. Evil is IN the church, as paul Vl once said, "the smoke of satan is in the church"

@LFTemplar PROFESSIONAL apologist? Few people will pay you :) You'd be well suited with a theological degree of some sort, from a seminary.
