The question of vocation has long been central to liberal education. In his Spotlight, Dr. Rick Lytle will reflect on views of calling: academic, professional, and spiritual.A calling is a "divine appointment" not reserved to professional ministers and clergy. In fact, most of Jesus' work was done with marketplace people. We'll consider how often the teaching of Jesus builds on the work of men and women in the world.
