This is one of those tiems where Mike really gets under my skin. He wants to give $200 to the McGovern campaign where its gonna make ZERO difference, when it can make a huge difference in the house. He's not working and has no income, he has no business donating it to ANYONE. How about supporting your family you liberal freak?

@dakotagerman1 and Mike could be at least polite about it and try to help around the house and avoid arguing with Archie over things they dont agree on and are bound to end up fighting about.He could also try to stay out of his chair since he knows how Archie feels about it or let Archie go first when entering a room but he doesnt even have the good manners to do even that much.

Yeah, Mike was selfish for not paying Archie for room & board and food. On top of that he gave the money to the democratic presidential candidate that Archie was against. Nixon turned out to be a crook but McGovern didn't have a chance to win that year.

A) Everyone, this is a scripted TV show. They need the Mike character to make the Archie one and his situations funny.

B) Stop generalising all liberals. I'm a liberal, albeit not American, go to school, have a job (had two before), living on my own and paying rent like anyone should. I would never think of donating money to a political campaign in Mike's position, not all liberals are freeloading flops.

Disagreeing with the "establishment" or your parent's political views is find and dandy, but to to it with such total disrespect and distain as the kids back then did was just totally over the line of decentcy. I'm an Independent and is one of the reasons I have such a distaste of the liberal mindset. Hypocracy. They're "tolerant" only if you agree with THEM. Some conservatives can be the same way, but liberals are so sickningly hypocritical about it.
