Here is a sneak peek look inside the York MMA Academy during one of their 'No Gi' fundamentals classes. During this particular lesion outline, you will notice that are focus on the class was digging for the "double under hooks" which allows an opponent to have more control of our body due to hip and back isolation. The "head lock" hip throw (general label) is a great opportunity to utilize their own position insistence against them. Though the technique is seen here in "choppy" form, we at one point of the clip will show you to see the advanced portion of the technique at full speed. The second portion of the 'sneak peek' video illustrates one of many options that stems off of you're being able to achieve double under hooks yourself. In the event they try to tie you up for a throw of their own, or they try to apply strikes with the hold, a simple step up into a seated roll is one option that proves to be simple, and effective; especially pertaining to self defense application as you can limit their strike attempts by accomplishing the "body lock", therefore allowing you more control of the body, and so forth. There are a TON of options that branch off of either position shown here.
