He also has to compose the music for every level. They're pretty complicated and probably took a while to make.

Err, I think Ikaruga is probably harder on the virtue of it's colour-coordination. Also, it's only on PC.

That is pretty damn impressive for one person to make, even if the gamestyle is very simple.

Yeah my thought and hope was that it could be played on dreamcast as that is my favorite console and it sports a ton of these bullet hell games. I have tired Ikaruga a bit, but I was drunk as shit so it didn't go well:P It's fairly hard to get to dreamcast where I live too but I'll get it someday! Thanks for the reply :)

btw, I only played Ikaruga as the Xbox Live Arcade demo.

It was pretty good, I was quite impressed at the time.

Too bad my dreamcast fried... I'd have played the original Ikaruga if it wasn't for that...

That said, I found Ikaruga challenging when I first picked it up. A new experience, to be exact. I had never played a danmaku before.
