  • The Coast Guard Station on the island reported 41 MPH winds sustained for 5 mins when it came ashore. I recorded a gust on my weather station of 53mph. Ft Morgan also reported sustained winds around 40mph. There was no debris on the road at 6am but by 630 I received reports of lots of debris and by 7am you can see what it looked like when I was trying to get on the only severe storm and streaming live for the NWS and others to check out .

  • was that the feb snow at t he end?

  • Most definitely! It should have been a ts if not a td

  • Good lord look at the water lvls. I lived in Spanish Fort, and ki4lbs is right, Dauphin Island pretty much gets its butt kicked during stronger storms.

  • Awesome video but as far as an upgrade to TD or more status....don't count on it. I lived in Foley and Gulf Shores for years and I know that a good thunderstorm can really screw up Dauphin Island. Otherwise nice footage.
