Good lord look at the water lvls. I lived in Spanish Fort, and ki4lbs is right, Dauphin Island pretty much gets its butt kicked during stronger storms.

Awesome video but as far as an upgrade to TD or more status....don't count on it. I lived in Foley and Gulf Shores for years and I know that a good thunderstorm can really screw up Dauphin Island. Otherwise nice footage.

The Coast Guard Station on the island reported 41 MPH winds sustained for 5 mins when it came ashore. I recorded a gust on my weather station of 53mph. Ft Morgan also reported sustained winds around 40mph. There was no debris on the road at 6am but by 630 I received reports of lots of debris and by 7am you can see what it looked like when I was trying to get on the only severe storm and streaming live for the NWS and others to check out .
