Bravo Vassar College Orchestra and Choir on a wonderful job of performing Borodin's beautiful Polovestsian Dances!

Many thanks.

You could try Chapells of Bond Street, London. They got me a recording of a choral version of this - it was a bit pricey, and it took 4 weeks, but they did it.

and the fact the altos sound like sopranos is probably due to the quality of the microphone in the camera

Very nice (as long as you only listen and not watch)! The altos have a beautiful tone. Actually, they all do. They have a nice, light sound. My community chorus is doing the same piece this season, and I hope we can get at least up to this tempo!

How beautiful! I love Polovetsian Dances, and the Orchestra and Choir did a wonderful job on this. Kudos to your friend for taping this. :) And by the way, is the choir singing in a particular language, or just singing sounds like "oh!" and "ah!"
