keeping whitening strips on longer than recommended is a BIG NO NO!! The strips are highly acid which demineralizes the teeth and weakens the enamel. You might not notice this at first, but its the reason, like you said, your teeth feel "tender" in the morning...thats dangerous in the long run!! :O
