You did a wonderful job. Thank you. I like fresh veggies but in the winter I buy mostly frozen. When I FINALLY get my own garden I will freeze most veggies and can a few others. Thanks again and keep making your great videos!!!

How about putting it in a colander that fits into your boilng water pot. Then you can just pick up the whole colander and put it in the ice water, and then out again -- much quicker and easier on the hands. I like the idea about the baking soda!

Question, Does this work for the broccoli leaves as well?

Thank you very much. This is really good video.
I just wonder- why it is better to blanch the broccoli and not just cook it completly before feezing it. There is a problem to freeze fully cooked vagetables?
thank you very much! I have some questions:
1. is it differ if i just let it cool out for 1-2 hours instead of the cold water ?
2. after you freeze it. when you want to use it you need to cook it agian? how acctully you use it after you freeze it?

1. Very important to cool it in ice water. It will ensure that the veggie is cooled on the inside quickly so that it doesn't continue to "cook".
2. No, after freezing simply warm for just a bit longer than you normally would.
Thanks!
