Waiting for my real life to begin

Colin Hay, I can't play guitar very well so I learned the song on the piano. Sorry, was working with a low quality camera and even with the mute pedal and closed lid, the piano is overwhelming.

Special note: Hi to those viewing my video. I have been getting emails and comments over the last two years about this song. I will answer most questions now. I learned this by ear to see if I could in fact learn a guitar song on the piano, I transposed it so I could actually sing it, but nothing was ever written down. I do not have tabs for this song. If one day I could finally have a piano again (this was one of the last times I've been able to play on one) I may take the time to write it out, but for now I have nothing to offer. Sorry. Thanks for all your nice comments. (and constructive criticism).

I've ~5 min. to compose myself before my 8 & 9 year old children walk in from school, as I'm in tears. I didn't know the song until Scrubs. It's a hard episode, as I was hit w/serious brain disease @ 27. I coded 2x after 1 of my brain surgeries. I needed a ventilator after my 2nd code & CPR. I had to relearn everything. The Scrubs episode reminds me each day is a gift. I watched all song versions here & yours is best by far. You were given this talent; I hope you've found a way to play again.
