This is the news that breaks my family's heart... my poor cousin's only son died on a vehicular accident in balintawak edsa.. our family is in grief about this... we didn't attend the Pascual Grand Reunion in Ateneo last January 3, 2009 because of this unfortunate event...

I ride a large motorbike (800cc) every single day along EDSA, possibly this makes me a little biased.

Scooters are not the problem, cars are not the problem. PEOPLE are the problem.

Forget about the vehicle type. Just about ALL road users have an utter lack of discipline, lack of driving ability, but most of all a lack of respect for other road users. You fix that problem, and scooters will never bother you again.

I see just as many idiot cagers as I do motorbike riders.

napaka bobo karamihan mga driver ng motor dito, dapat kasi dito hindi ganon kadali pagkuha ng lisensiya baka nga karamihan walang lisensiya, tatanga tanga kasi hindi marunong ng traffic rules, kung sila nakabangga ng kotse tatakbuhan lang nila, pag sila naman na bangga ng kotse nakakaawa naman at kung anu ano pang drama ang ipapakita. Minsan naman pag stop pa sila pilit sila mag go, ang katuwiran wala naman sasakyan, wtf? anung katuwiran yan? at mahilig sila mag beat ng red light, extreme bobo!!

mapa kotse o motor walang disiplina mga yan. un nga lng un mga naka motor wala ng disiplina tanga pa. eh motor na nga lng ang tapang pa humarurot at sumingit. eh naghahanap tlga ng sakit ng katawan un mga ganun. LOL! try nyo magbasa ng comments sa mga videos na 2ngkol sa xrm, raider at kng ano ano pa. matatawa nlng kayo kng pano mag angasan sa comment section mga hindot.

I urge you to visit the PNP HQ and view the stats. Motorcycle riders have the highest fatality rate when it comes to recorded accidents, but given there are more than 5 million of us out there, we are far from the leading cause of accidents.

In order: Trucks. Buses. PUJ's / Taxi's. Tricycles. Private vehicles. Pedestrians. Motorbikes.

Don't make yourself look stupid, you can be as loud as you want, reality is not on your side however.
