An unique event in Austria, north of Vienna: Sugarbeet trains pulled by Brenner&Brenner steamer 52.7612 on the former local railway between Mistelbach and Hohenau. Sadly it might be the last of its kind on this line, because of its desolate condition.
After the last camera broke, now the new equipment has arrived (Canon SX 30 IS). It is not complete, however, as in future I will record the sound on a separate mic and audio recorder (both should arrive this week).
On that day the wind proved to be a challenge, I tried to cope with it as best as I could, also using some post-processing techniques. The new audio equipment will be better protected against wind and also feature directional sound, so less distracting noise from the surroundings.
Good to see you're back with a new camera.
Doesn't look as if you've been having too wintry weather round that way.

Hi,
Thanks! :-)
Well it was just 1-2 rainy days before Christmas causing Vienna to be rather snowless in comparison to the rest of Europe.
Cheers,
Roni
