FMARS 2009 - Kristine at the Controls - 6th Flight of Prioria Maveric UAV on Devon Island

Video of FMARS 2009 crew member Kristine Ferrone controlling the Maveric UAV. The footage was captured from the takeoff/landing site, Trinity Lake, which is located on Devon Island not far from the Flashline Mars Arctic Research Station (FMARS). This was during the sixth flight of the system on Devon Island, conducted on July 24, 2009.

This sixth UAV flight was conducted during EVA14 of the expedition, with the operators wearing simulated Mars space suits. The flight took off from, landed at, and was controlled from a hilltop adjacent to Trinity Lake. The footage was captured by EVA gunner Stacy Cusack.
