Bait Lot at Mill and Seventh--You Will Be Towed

An empty lot at Seventh and Mill is home to a criminal enterprise. The owner has allowed Monster Impound and Recovery to park vehicles on this lot despite the very small NO PARKING signs posted. Unsuspecting visitors to Mill Ave park in what appears to be a legal parking lot and within minutes the Monster tow truck arrives to take your car away--and charge you about $175 to get it out. Co-conspirators hang out in the neighboring "e-Joy Internet Cafe" and call the Monster tow truck as soon as someone parks. This clip is an interview with one of the co-conspirators of this illegal--and disgusting--enterprise.

When monster Towing does the towing at my apartment complex we do not get a kick back..so I don't know what you are talking about. I think you are just pissed because they towed your car and you parked where you shouldn't have.

That guy may or may not have been a spotter (I'm leaning toward "may", but he wasn't standing where the spotters usually stake themselves out. The spotters, and yes, there's more than one of them, usually hide behind the Fixx (formerly eJoy) to the southeast

I sued Monster Towing. My hearing was last Thursday. Guess what...I won. Why? Because IT'S NOT LEGAL...broham, YOU'RE the "fuckin idiot"

Well, things are different now. The owner of ejoy cafe died in April, and before his body was even cold David Sweetman, the owner of Monster Towing, bought the place. He has kept it closed. He bought this lot just to tow cars from it.
