  • Great trailer! Tell me why is the best talent on youtube and all the idiots in Hollywood? I have seen more imagination and pure talent here on youtube than the last 20 years of Hollywood COMBINED!!!!! You rank right here with that great talent!!

  • @voyager202000 I am honored thank you. I agree people are doing way better stuff, much better then me too. I think its because in Hollywood they are losing the heart that we have when making our own productions. Its about money and high mucky mucks at the business table and not about the love we have for movies and shows.

  • Good stuff! Love the Jurassic Park type font too!

  • @tackyman2011 Thanks! I should have thrown some giant lizard footage in there to fit the font

  • Incredible! This was so darn good! You need to do this for a living! Excellent!!!

  • @Garyindiana11 Thanks I wish I could!

  • Shriffes was just looking to cash in on the New Line Cinema LIS movie ..If Melchior had a case, he could have sued, but because of the differences whihc were many, he had no case. New Line Cinema did give Melchior some compensation when they did the film, without the knowledge or permission or approval of the Allen estate. but like I said, if Allen had ripped it off, the tv series we know and love would be much different thats why he had no case!

  • @3dartistguy Fair enough, I never read it, but I did read an article from the author which was the basis of the book. I was just sayin, putting Melchoir's name on the credits was probably a "tip of the hat" to the possibility. I'm fully in Irwin Allen's camp, have no doubt.

  • Originally published as "Space Family Robinson: The True Story" -- and then re-titled "Lost in Space: The True Story" because Shifres and his co-conspiriatorial publisher wanted to "cash in" on New Line's mega-budget motion picture -- the book provides a series of shrill and largely unsubstantiated claims that Irwin Allen ripped-off the concept for "Lost in Space" from Ib Melchior (a modestly successful producer/director during the early 1960s).

  • i have read the book about a decade ago, and its filled with GARBAGE! If Allen had ripped off Melchior, the tv series that we know and love would have been decidely different The characters were different, named differently, there were several boys and only one girl, there was no saboteur or robot and the ship was a rocket! Don't believe everything you read. Melchior couildn';t sue because he had no case because of the differences. Irwin Allen was the one true creator of Lost in Space!

  • @3dartistguy Well, there is some controversy over who really came up with the pilot story to LIS. You should check out the book "Lost in Space The True Story" by Ed Shifres.

And I'm sure he meant to write "John" Williams and goofed.

  • great job, except Ib Melchior DID not write the the series...nor did Guy Williams write the music...

  • Nice editing and titling job!

  • Damn good stuff. Someone has way to much time on their hands, but it is ten to the tenth power better than most of the fan stuff out their.
