How do you do finishing moves?

@nightwishfan1991 on bosses like these, its like 100% chance (unless i'm incorrect but thats my experiences) but on normal enemies, theres a chance that'll automatically trigger a finishing move on the last hit.

The first time I saw this in game, Alistar did it for me, I was just standing there like "I think I'm gay now"

I did it now for the first time, and it was with my character but i was Leilana at the moment when it happend, I was standing still for half a minute after the kill, trying to grasp what I saw, most epic thing that has happend to me...

as Arcane Warrior you can do this with a fucking tanking mage! XD

i don't know if it ever happened to you guys, but i once had sten and my warden doing this finish move toguether !!! honest truth,i don't know if it was a glitch or if its possible, as from what i saw leliana arrow was the one with last kill and i was not close enough to deliver the blow i thing, i tried to tape but even though fraps was active when i went to the folder there was no video :(, i tried to reproduce with only sten and my warden but no luck.
