  • I did NOT understand his formula and it drove me crazy so I looked it up & this might make more sense:

    1house per 3hrs + 1house per 5hrs = 1house per how many hrs? also written as:

    1/3 + 1/5 = 1/t we get each part to have the same denomintor by multiplying each by 15t. Now we have 5t + 3t = 15. We know that t = 1.875 meaning 1hr & .875 of (or times) 60min, which = 52.5, so it'll take 1hr, 52min, and 30sec :)

  • hahaha! "using the simple formula A times B over A plus B we arrive at our answer of 1 and 7/8ths" Bowers was the $h!t!

  • At the 00:41 mark, it looks a lot like the 2011 St Louis Cardinals. Only difference was, the Cardinals got in and didnt need the playoff game.

  • I thought it was the average??? Maybe that's why I chose a major with no math classes..

  • @FortunatelyAnonymous Thus "1 7/8ths".

  • Lonnie is right, find the average...
