Separation Day

Separation day is always tough on everyone.

As it turned out, all four of Tana's litter were boys. Unfortunately that means no extended roommate for mama Tana. I feel badly about that, daughters were one of the perks of raising a litter for other moms.

She'd been running around the playpen like she's searching. I didn't know if it would be helping or hurting, but I tried offering her some soiled litter and bedding out of pups bin. It clearly had some meaning for her, and she did calm down afterwards.

She'll get over it quickly, robos forget everything after just a day or two. She's already arguing with her reacquired neighbors Snowflake and Roman. (Snowflake is the pups dad)

What happens if you put her as neighbors with her pups?

@karens317 I don't have a way to set up a cage with 4, next to a cage with 1.

I'm going to keep the boys in a group as long as they like each other. They're doing well together. But eventually the pups will end up in the apartments, and see their mom again.

I like this video and dislike at the same time. Sad times...... But at least Tana has a good owner to look after her.
