Work From Home Mum Plays "Annie's Song" by John Denver

My name is Kylie Doak and one of the things that I love to do, is play the piano. I'm a married stay at home mum of three who works from home (internet marketing business).

I just love "Annie's Song". It has a lot of sentiment for me, including the fact that it is the name of my paternal grandmother (who was 95 years old in July I might add!). She is a beautiful woman and I love her to bits! I have played this song for her on her piano many times over the years.

My best friend, Wendy Meesen, sang "Annie's Song" at my wedding back in 1996 and we also performed it together at a community concert many years ago - me on piano, Wendy singing.

I only found out yesterday that my good friends, Jason and Jodie Thompson, had "Annie's Song" as their wedding song! That was actually the inspiration for me recording myself playing it! I wanted Jason and Jodie to be able to hear me playing it for them!

So here you go Jason and Jodie. It's not quite the same as John Denver singing it, but nonetheless, I love playing this song and I hope you both enjoy it - from me to you :)

I love playing the piano, although I haven't played for at least 3 months! Too many other things to be doing although I'll be getting back to it again very soon (I miss it!).

My Grandma (Annie) was the most brilliant pianist & my Dad has always said that she could make the piano "talk".

I aspire to be able to play just like she did and I'll continue to practice at it.
