  • Very beautiful story, well written. I'm from a different culture and when I arrived in Egypt I was amazed at how close men were and how uncomfortable they were to relate to women. It is extremely sad what is happening in Saudi Arabia. Reading the book from an Eritrean immigrant point of view was so refreshing, You can feel its originality, nobody could have done it better. Congratulations!!

  • This is the most beautiful book I have ever readed.

I am waiting desperatly after a new masterpiece from you Addonia.

  • Sulaiman,

I lived in Jeddah around the same time, and went through Sudan to arrive to Jeddah around the same time with my family, went to school there also for a few years around the same time. I could relate so much to the story and the events and even had a blind imam come to our gilrls-only school...everything made sense to me...Wow! I could not put it down! Daring and couragious book! Beautiful!
