  • great video. Love the knife. Any thoughts on making a chopping demonstration video with the knife. I'm curious on how well it chops compared to your "freedom".

  • Yer i hope to get a chance to that at some point.

    :-)

  • I was thinking of buying the 18inch panawal (no mercy) have you ever reviewed this one ?I am looking for one a bit heaver then the defender.

  • No I have not got hold of that one yet. Its on my list to buy. If its anything like the defender it will be a real beast. You need some real muscle to heft some of the big kukris. The big ones will take a head clean off.

  • I just got one of these for Christmas. I am having mine professionally polished and sharpened. I love it! I'll be reviewing mine when it gets back from the shop.

  • Mate , Learn how to unsheath the Khukuri with safty ! NEVER encase teh sheath with you hand, you need those fingers for futer use ;)

  • Love this knife. I think it's what I've always wanted in a blade. Any advise on how to keep it in tip top shape?

  • I'm so glad you did this review. I am getting this knife for Christmas from my wife and this is the only video review I have seen on it. Your vid makes me want it even more.

  • @DavidBeck1992 no its not. its just a different style blood dripper/notch. but its still a khhi product. they have other knives with a similar notch.

  • thats not a knife its a damn sword

  • Hello.

I want to buy it and i would be very happy if you could give me some directions. Thnx.

  • stealthyspider, you ARE Gareth Keenan from 'The Office'.

  • beautiful ;DD

  • Excellent Video. I have bought a KHHI Max xtream which is a bigger version of your American Eagle. Superb knife but heavy at 2lbs. As you say it chops like an axe. Also bought a Service No5 Ultimate and a Chukuri from Kukuri House Thamel. The only thing I would add is that if these are to be used think about getting them unpolished, they scratch less and the original temper is better maintained. Polishing does soften the edge a tad. Also got a show blade from KH Thamel, also fantastic.
