Just noticed "Rise" records - ya know, if you are a real music fan, perhaps the best thing to do is drown your radio and just look at the Rise catalog. They have not disappointed me yet. Wish I could say the same for Warner, Atlantic, Sony, and all the other bloated fluff machines.

The problem with this kind of bands is that they want and try to be their idols. The good thing with the BIG bands of the past was that they didn't sound like their idols. They took their influences,mixed them and created a new sound and style.

they got that small town 1977 garage band sound. I think they fucking rock and this band is exacly what they music of today needs to sound like again.

In the current musical climate, unless you are ridiculously hot, can scream like a twat down a microphone, sing like a girl or act like a stupid fuck up you dont get anywhere....which is a shame because this band IS THE BEST CURRENT BAND IN THE WORLD!!!!! but because they dont do any of those they dont make it big, when they so deserve to be!!!
