For any company that develops electronic products there is a need to be able to integrate the printed circuit board into its mechanical enclosure or case. Watch this video to see how the STEP format is used to work between Altium Designer and SolidWorks. Watch Part 1 here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kIkx86l5s_M
Is there any ability to export the traces as well when I want a true 3D representation in solidworks?

Some questions....
(a), Why not just make a normal PCB and import it into solidworks and use the circuitWorks feture to render in and fit the board around it, or fit comonents around, then import it back to any PCB CAD and re-route it?
(b.) Does Aultium have a default libary of STEP modles? Even for the very basic componets, such as LED, resistor, capacitators ect. and whats better 3D bodies or STEP modles?
(c) How do i make a robot in this?
(d) Why does this aussie gut put on US accent?

I'm impressed! As an Orcad user I think I'm missing out on an EDA revolution.

I would like to see more tutorials about Altium Designer on YouTube, maybe some of the newest videos from the DemoCenter or other. Thx.
