it ain't working with me i do the beeps steps then it still say Cannot start. the correct hard disk was not found. any idea what i should do now?

I was making a new PSN, then my PS3 froze. I had to unplug it, then when I turned it back on it read "Cannot Start. The correct hard disk was not found." I turned it off by pressing the power button then held the button until it beeped twice to restore it. It didn't work, so I tried going to the recovery menu and it would do the beeping stuff up until it made a double beep, then I still had a black screen. I have a Slim 120GB/Latest FW/RGB Component cables. Help appreciated,

I'm here because I was playing sr3 and WEN I first installed it it sed it was corrupted so I re installed it played it nothing wrong 2 days later thought I might play online went to match making and it deleted my offline data and set it bak to the part were u r guy punches the bank thingy screen

Ya really need a PS3 to do this? Wow I thought you could use a cardboard cutout of a PS3...I mean I didn't know ya had to first own a PS3 to experience a PS3 problem...who knew?
