CaptivaPC - carputer per Captiva

Ho fatto questo lavoretto alla mia Captiva LT:
- schermo lcd 7'' touchscreen montato al posto del porta oggetti frontale
- computer sotto il sedile
- GPS collegato al computer
- collegamento canbus con la centralina
- PIC esterno per informazioni temperatura e gestione accensione/spegnimento
- software personalizzato che mostra dati della centralina, con integrata gestione navigazione, mediaplayer e utilità varie (oltre che altimetro, bussola, autovelox)

I wrote the software from scratch (Delphi for the user interface, C++ for some DLLs and PIC-ASM for the CMU).

Ciao, volevo realizzare una cosa simile. Volevo sapere come hai fatto ad interfacciarti con la rete CAN?

Io finora ho trovato solo il cavo basato su ELM327 (o qualcosa di simile) mentre come alternativa sto preparando una interfaccia CAN-RS232 basata sul SJA1000 della Philips.

ELM327! E' molto semplice da usare. L'ho impostato in modalità "monitor" così da intercettare tutte le comunicazioni CANBUS, e con un po' di reverse engineering ho capito il significato dei codici trasmessi.

I think it is not possible to insert a double DIN where I have placed the screen. The problem is the depth. There is no enough space in depth (while width and height are ok).

ecco... io il monitor mode l'ultima volta non sono riuscito ad attivarlo. ora come ora non ricordo il perchè ma magari quando riprovo ti chiedo, magari riesci a darmi qualche dritta.

Vorrei farti una domanda,come si fa a smontare l'autoradio per inserire un'altra a doppio din con navigatore touch screan?

Hello, you have probably been asked this but exactly do you have to do to fit the display and unit into the upper dashboard part of the captiva? which parts do you use for the screen and surround etc? also are all the wires in the car already?
