Just wanted to publicly say THANK YOU! You are the best! Thanks for the responses and recommendations. I bought the defender case AND the otterbox 2000 case (Have you seen that thing?!) There is a youtube vid for the 2000...dude runs over it with his car! Im sure you've seen it. I was torn between the defender and the armor before, but now I can use the defender and place the iphone (with defender case on) in the 2000 case for full waterproof (100 feet!) protection and crush proof!

fix for the silent switch problem:
you don't even have to upload a silent ringtone, you can just set the volume all the way down and select a virtually inaudible ringtone, such as harp....try it, it is completely silent unless you bring the speaker right up to you ear! pretty sweet! Please do a stress test! (only if you have an iphone you want to destroy of course!) thanks!

to fix the air bubbles:
Use an antiglare and it won't stick
There's another trick...puff a fine cloud of baby power on the inside of the plastic membrane screen...the power won't really show up.
Question:
Does the clip come off the holster....I'm a chick and want to use it as a screen protector (if I drop it and something hits the screen)
CAN YOU PLEASE DO A STRESS TEST WITH THIS CASE? Thanks!!

I don't believe the clip can be removed from the holster. I don't have this case anymore to do a stress test.

hey buddy, all i did to fix the silent switch problem with this case was record a ringtone with nothing on it but pure silence and then send it to my iphone. then i went to settings and chose vibrate with the silent ringtone so now i do not need the silent switch, all i do is switch ringtones...enjoy.
