@strawberrybounce2 Although I disagree with you, I think I know what you're saying. It just kinda stares you in the face in Shep's remixes of Janet Jackson's singles. I hear it more here than any of his work with the Pet Shop Boys, Madonna, Debbie Gibson, New Order, etc. (not sure if you like any of them, but...).
I like it myself. But I see where you're coming from.
