In our Barefoot Contessa Photo Adventures workshops, one of the things we stress is keeping the composition simple, whether a landscape, a close-up, or a detail. Watch for an explanation and examples.

I have always said, "Remember what attracted you to the scene and make sure it is your only subject."

See examples of photographs that illustrate less is more, then check out our blog at BCphotoadventures.blogspot.com .

  • It all goes back to the KISS theory. Do it with your own photographs!

And thank you all for writing, TBC

  • Amazing!

  • Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. Some people don't realize that it is the work of us three instructors, Moi, The Barefoot Contessa, a.k.a. Margo Pinkerton, Arnie Zann, and John Pagliuca. Also, thanks for subscribing. I'll try to get another one up in another week. TBC

  • Thank you, Julie. We appreciate the kind comments. Take care, TBC
