Your right, its just evolution. But, i think the point people are trying to make is that who you fall in love with should not be based solely on looks.

The Actor who plays the Phantom is named Gerard Butler, and they call him Erik because that is the Phantom's real name: Erik. If you haven't seen the 2004 version with Gerard Butler and Emmy Rossum, i suggest you do, it is so amazing.
