Your Hoben-pon Dai-ni sounds great so I watched your video. So I am NOT against you, Sir. Just I was wondering whether you are really a priest from a Nichiren Sect or not. Please excuse me if I made you upset. I do not mean it. Just wondering. Thank you.
When you chant, you have to look at the Mandala Honzon. This is the true way of what Nichiren taught us even to the lay people. Did Rissho Univ. not tell you about that? The statue of Nichiren in front of you is wearing the light gray one, doesn't he?
I am a layman but we all know how Nichiren priests should teach us or act in front of lay people. Are you really a priest from Minobu???
Nichiren never taught priests to wear clerical garment with dark or bright color, he taught his followers to wear light gray by the extension teachings of Sakyamuni. And never taught to beat Chinese block, close your eyes, or grip beads wiz yr hands like that. Eyes must be open and hands must be put straight holding your beads between your chest.
