Rod Blagojevich and Roland Burris Defiant To The End!

Update: Senator Roland Burris (D- Illinois) is under fire for not disclosing encounters with former governor Rod Blagojevich and his family. The scandal continues.

This is a defiant move.

Word is that the Illinois Democratic governor under indictment went through on his appointment of a U.S. Senate replacement for outgoing Barack Obama, president-elect.

Even though Roland Burris, an former African American attorney general from Illinois has nothing to do with Democratic governor Rod Blagojevich, this decision by the governor is not only a slap in the face to President Barack Obama, but the Democratic Party and Republican Party.

The Senate Majority Leader Nevada Democrat Harry Reid is not interested in this deal, and will block any move this governor plays.

Barack Obama was the only African American in U.S. Senate.

Illinois Congressman Bobby Rush, Democrat is pulling and pushing for the Burris. Time for some good ole fashion throw the only "black person" in Senate excuse. Bobby Rush is playing the "race card".

Congressman Bobby Rush was a former member of Student Non-violent Coordinating Committee, and The Black Panther Party. He serves the first district of Illinois, the south side of Chicago. This is a minority-majority district, African Americans represent over 60% of the voting constituents.
