38 years ago, in a cottage on a river through the hills, I met a quietly beautiful, spiritually evolved woman, and I asked the question where she was from, and it was rude and I was young and simple.
"But, oh, Women when they dance --
What joy they bring to the hearts of Men!"
Thankyou, Maddy, for sharing yourself with the thousands of people you've never met who care so much about you.
Maddy you and Steeleye Span are a part of my life, I await the grim reaper, I hope he is is English otherwise he may lose his job to me, I will then reap to the tune of the Victory, bless Nelson.
You speak of people with whom we connect, on the "same wavelength," and I get a real sense of that with you, from hearing you speak. Which is very odd, because I've never met you. I've seen you briefly, buying raffle tickets from you at gigs, but I hope one day our paths'll cross and we can have a good conversation. I'm beginning to sound like an obsessed fan now! *cringe* Ah well. Again, good luck with your operation. I'll be thinking of you.
The skin cancer revelation threw me for a loop. Glad she made it through that. Must have been quite traumatizing.

All the best for your operation, wishing you a quick recovery. And thank you for the joy your music has brought me over the past few years.
