I do a quick overview of Taxi the pinball machine by Williams. It's a great pre-DMD solid state game that would make a great addition to any pinball collection or would be great as a standalone game.
@luno44 if you have time and the patience id suggest trying to get it on visual pinball 9 on the pc...think MAME for pinball machines. the tables are pretty realistic in physics like this one, although the one i have isnt too pretty with the graphics, so its either you have great table ok physics or visa versa...i also have williams collection its pretty good i play it all the time on psp and ps2 :P
i first played this in williams game hall of fame and i fell in love with it.... i looked up to see how it is in real time playing....damn its 3 times faster!! nevertheless im gonna look up for it,i want it in my playroom no matter what!
Bought a Taxi machine yesterday - Marylin playfield. Picking it up tomorrow! I got it for pretty cheap because the drop targets don't work, and they need new optos and coils. But the machine and playfield are in relatively good shape. Oh - and the bell doesn't ring. But I can live with that...
I've seen this and "Popeye Saves the Earth" by Bally on a rehabilitation of a former hospital next to a cemetery not so far from my house (my Dads, because my parents are separated). First time I saw this one was a time when I went late in kindergarten and it was somewhere in the basement of that hospital, but I've never played it.
BTW, It's not so often you see Santa Claus in a pinball machine! ;)
i have this on my PS2 and it's weird to see the physics on the real table. Many ball movements on yours aren't like the game. I wish i had a real taxi table.
a person offer me a taxi for 1000dolars its a good prize¿?¿?

I have this on PS2 and it's really disappointing how realistic it is, but the ball physics are still all wrong.
