AMD ATHLON II X2 260 OC@3.95Ghz Cpu Speed test

AMD Athlon II x2 260 3.2ghz over clocking to 3.9ghz the most i can get out of it at the moment limited by motherboard Cheap Asrock 880GM-LE

Temps idle 32c full load with prime95 running for 12hours 49c system is water cooled with a cheap $200 syscooling kit i wanted to build a cheap gaming rig for under $500

i make videos would this be good to render them in sony vegas ?

@xIR0B I find this CPU to be quite slow at rendering movies, But thats just my opinion. I haven't used sony vegas so I'm not quite sure on how fast it would render, And it also depends on how much RAM you have as well.

@gkarv1 yes they do but it also depends on how much RAM and what graphics card you have.

@gkarv1 they seem to be very reliable i have two of them both are overclocked and i haven't had any problems with either of them.

@skiripizzapony yeah its the one with 2 ram slots of which one slot has failed (second Asrock board that ive had thats had this problem) in all honesty i would spend a few extra $ and get a Gigabyte mobo, hope this helps
