Judas... Why? He isn't even spanish, he ows nothing to this club. If he was to owe something to a club, it would be Sporting CP, which he is a fan and is the club that he came from. He's a professional, Real Madrid is a bigger club, and Barcelona just wasn't enough for his talent.

I did a feel a bit of sympathy for Barcelona but on der other hand. Look at der way Barcelona treat some of their legends- their treatment of Rivaldo was disgraceful. He was a legend - arguably the best player in the world- yet was never really appreciated by Barca fans. When he left no1 said nefink. Ungrateful twats

@TheMetalEngineer Barca and Madrid are rivals, so ofcourse there will always be someone hating .. i think the reason barca hated him so much, was because he was such a good player, they was angry that they lost one of their best players, and the worst thing was that they lost him to Madrid.. I'm a barca fan(and have been that since 2002) but i don't hate him, and i think it was disrespectfull and dumb of some of the barca fans who throwed things at him,especially the pig head.

It'd be disrespectful for himself not to fulfil his own dream as a child of playing in Madrid just cause he was in Barca. It's not like he offered to play for Barca, or wanted to be their captain; they were the ones that bought him. If he didn't make it in Barca he'd most likely make it in other club and probably ended up in Madrid anyway. Sure only who got pissed were the fans of Barca of course, if he was in Man United and went to Madrid like CRonaldo, do you think the reacftion was the same?

@TheMetalEngineer stop talking like its all barca fan that hates him, i don't hate him, but i do think that is was disrespectfull of him to move from barca to madrid just because of money. don't forget that Barca is the reason why madrid wanted figo in the first place, barca made Figo a big player, and then Madrid was interested and bought him. some people don't hate him because he left, but they hate him because of the way he left. but throwing a pig head at him was wrong, i admit that.

@albidj007 So if Barca didn't have the money to keep a player like that and Madrid did... I suppose it's due to the player's abilities? Maybe, he has more value, don't you think? LoL. But no, that wasn't even the reason. Figo is a fan of Sporting CP, not Barça, Madrid or Inter. When he went to Barca, he already dreamed of playing in Madrid before, he already stated that. He never thought maybe he would get to be captain of the team when he went to there. Barca fans are just annoying.
