Is there a way to use musical mode with changing pitch of audio tracks? like when you speed up or slow down a turntable. I want this, because I can't find an algorithm in musical mode that sounds right. I want to apply tempo change to whole songs where a lot is going on and the algorithms can't really deal with that.
thanks

@bugeyedmudafuka2 I have h=just uploaded a new video on Audio Warping in Cubase 6 to the channel which shows how to change the tempo and pitch at the same time.

There is new functionality in Cubase 6 that would allow a tape algorithm which can change the pitch of the audio as well. There should be a new video posted in a couple of weeks showing this.

In Cubase 4 it may have been called straighten up. Make sure that you go to the view attributes page and make sure that it and tempo are checked so that they will be visible.

Make sure that the track itself is in musical mode as well as the file within the pool. Also, make sure that the tempo for the original file is correct. Many people record a track at the default tempo of 120 and have the wrong tempo defined for the audio file.
The tempo track was introduced in Cubase 5 and is not in SX 3.
