  • Lazio would not stand up to special interests any more than would Spitzer prosecute a prostitute. Lazio was in bed (pun intended) with the fat cat NYC bankers for most of his career. You can always judge a person form the friends he has around him, and Lazio is the penultimate insider politician. I'm supporting Warren Redlich.

  • Sorry Jonas88 but I agree with Lizz. We desperately need a candidate who will stand up for our constitution. The rest will take care of itself. Really, I'm not impressed to see such an attack by Lazio so early in the campaign. Usually those are last ditch efforts used to steal votes by the looser towards the end. Shades of things to come? Maybe. Either way, Warren Redlich gets my vote.

  • There is NO link to the issues on Rick Lazio's website?

Could someone please direct me to where he talks or has written about the issues.

    Thank you.

  • Voting for a regular candidate is also throwing your vote away. How often does a candidate win or lose by a margin of under 100? Not very often, I believe. If anything, voting for a third party is a better choice because it helps them get ballot access, funding, and publicity, and forces the main candidates to acknowledge that base and shift their agenda towards them.

Besides, who said Redlich is third party? AFAIK, he's going to run in the Republican primary.

  • @Madfoot713 why vote for a third party candidate? Why throw your vote away on principle? I just don't get it. Isn't the lesser or two evils preferable?

We've already learned from California that letting evil run amok won't lead to the right people getting elected. It will lead to a land-lock whereby corrupt politicians-for-life take turns failing to make a difference.

  • That is rather impressive Simon and Garfunkel gave approval to Rick Lazio to use their music.

  • I voted for Rick Lazio once, and I will vote for him again.

  • Vote WARREN REDLICH!

  • @lizzabbott Lazio stands for making the decisions, like addressing out of control spending and skyrocketing taxes. We all know that the Paterson/Cuomo policies of higher spending and higher taxes have caused businesses and residents to flee New York. Lazio is the only candidate willing to stand up to the special interests who control Albany and Repair, Rebuild and Reform New York State.
